What is the Taste of West Seattle?
Taste of West Seattle is an event held every year, the money raised goes towards helping West Seattle families in emergencies get back on their feet thanks to West Seattle Helpline. The proceeds go towards helping families with rent, clothing, bus tickets and more. The winners of the Taste of West Seattle this year were Stuffed cakes and Fresh Bistro.
What were my favorites?
This had to have been the tastiest event I have ever been to, each vendor was so friendly and wonderful to talk with. My favorite tastes were from Bakery Nouveau, I used to walk to this bakery every Friday and order a praline dream and California club. Blackboard Bistro had really unique Nutella marscapone with hazelnut and pinenut brittle. I have always driven by Harry’s Chicken Joint and finally got to taste some of their awesome coleslaw and fried chicken. One of the best parts of going to this event is you get to taste so many different morsels in one space that you wouldn’t otherwise get to try.
